So, you have received the status of a nobleman (Noblesse) and have the opportunity to participate in the Great Olympiad. What do you need for this?
Let's start with the basics. First, you need to prepare a weapon with an SA buff for the Olympics:
Staff of Evil Spirits [Bodily Blessing] (B-grade) –
Blessed Body lvl 5: Increase max HP +30%. Chance of applying 28%.
Sprite's Staff [Mental Shield] (B-grade) – Mental Shield lvl 4: Root Resistance +50%, Sleep +60%, Mental Attacks +60%. Chance of applying 50%.
Staff of Evil Spirits [Magic Focus] (B-grade) – Focus lvl 3: Chance P. Crete. Atk. +30%. Chance of applying 20%.
How to buff SA buffs on Olympus?
- We target ourselves.
- We equip the necessary weapon with SA.
- We use self buffs
Bandage,
Infernal Form,
Noblesse Blessing until the SA buff is applied.
It is very important to learn how to quickly drain HP at limits up to 30% and below. How to do this and what is needed for this?
We need:
Tallum Heavy Set/
Draconic Leather Armor — your choice (both give -2 CON)
Homunkulus's Sword [Conversion] (reduces max HP by 40%)
Dark Crystal Robe Set (spell casting speed +15%, WIT +2)
Staff of Evil Spirits [Bodily Blessing] (increase max HP +30%, chance to apply 28%)
Doom Heavy Armor Set (CON +3)
Saint Spear [Health] (increase max HP +25%)
How to merge on limits at the Olympics?
- We're flying to the Olympics in
Tallum Heavy Set/
Draconic Leather Armor, in hands with
Homunkulus's Sword [Conversion]. - We change into
Dark Crystal Robe Set и
Staff of Evil Spirits [Bodily Blessing], we throw it over
Blessed Body lvl 5. - As soon as the buff is applied, we change into
Doom Heavy Armor Set и
Saint Spear [Health]. - Use the active skill several times
Earthquake. - Turn on
Zealot,
Frenzy,
Battle Roar,
anger. - We put on the necessary armor/weapon and go into battle.
All dressing up must be done using a macro. How to make a macro for dressing up sets, weapons and LS-buffs was discussed in this article.
if you have
Necklace of Valakas, then you will do it even faster. We do everything exactly the same, only we fly to the Olympics without putting on
Necklace of Valakas. And in point 3 we dress
Doom Heavy Armor Set и
Saint Spear [Health] +
Necklace of Valakas. Then everything is exactly the same.
Destroyer at the Olympics: What weapons and armor to use?
Dragon Bow [Critical Slow] — A 16% chance to slow for 120 seconds on a critical hit. The slow reduces movement speed by 50%! No destroyer who wants to be a hero can do without it on Olympus. The logic is simple: at Limit Breaks, it's under effect.
Zealot Crits are very frequent. If the debuff wears off, you're a win against almost any class; escaping is impossible. Plus, you don't have to run around the entire stadium with a two-handed sword; you don't waste time, and you deal decent damage straight from the bow.
Basalt Battlehammer - with it you can use skills such as
Hammer Crush, as well as
Armor Crush. Once you've stunned your enemy, immediately equip your two-handed sword and finish them off. This is especially useful against mana pumps like EE/PP/SE/Bishop—after all, the skill
Armor Crush does not require MP to use.
Heavens Divider [Focus] — our main weapon for dealing damage, it is advisable to have a sharpened +6 and a good passive LS, we will talk about this later.
Draconic Leather Armor — Set bonus: +1 Dexterity, +1 Str, -2 Con, +4% P. Atk, +4% P. Aspd, +289 MP, +5759 carry weight. It's also advisable to have a set enchanted to +6, as enchanting to +6 significantly increases dodge. I always choose this set as a base, as the destroyer has passive abilities.
Light Armor Mastery. The set increases attack speed, as well as attack power, plus dodge from the passive.
Imperial Crusader Heavy Armor Set — Set bonus: +2 Str, -2 Dex, +8% P.Def, +445 HP, -70% chance of Sleep/Hold completion. This will add even more punch to our damage dealer and is effective against other strong physical classes, such as Gladiator/Tyrant. It's also effective against EE/PP/SE/Bishop if you don't have a full set of epic jewelry; the set provides strong resistance to basic debuffs.
Destroyer at the Olympics: Passive LS Buff
Dragon Bow [Critical Slow] - the ideal LS buff for this weapon is passive
Item Skill: Duel Might (increases your PvP Phys. Atk. damage +5%)/
Item Skill: Focus (increases critical attack chance +20%). Focus would be better, of course, because the more often the critical hit, the more likely our SA will work [Critical Slow].
Heavens Divider [Focus] There's no definitive advice here; it all depends on who you're facing at the Olympics. For this reason, it's best to have a wide arsenal of different passive LS buffs:
Item Skill: Duel Might — Increases your PvP Physical Atk. damage by 5%.
Item Skill: Focus - Increases critical attack chance by +20%.
Item Skill: Reflect Damage — Reflects 20% of damage from physical attacks back to the enemy, excluding damage from skills and ranged attacks.
Basalt Battlehammer — here you need to catch a passive LS buff for survivability, for example:
Item Skill: Magic Barrier
Item Skill: Shield
Item Skill: Agility
Item Skill: Reflect Damage
Destroyer at the Olympics: Active LS Buff
So, we are playing on a classic server, where we have only one active LS buff available, what to choose? Again, we return to the fact that each battle in the arena is individual. Each profession has its own tactics and approaches, you need to have a different range of active buffs for all cases, but we will now consider the most important ones.
Item Skill: Celestial Shield - invulnerability for 10 seconds.
Item Skill: Focus - Increases critical attack chance by +20%.
Item Skill: Reflect Damage — Reflects 20% of damage from physical attacks back to the enemy, excluding damage from skills and ranged attacks.
It's really cool when you have paired combos, like both active and passive of the same skill. Like:
Item Skill: Focus - Increases critical attack chance by +20%.
Item Skill: Focus - Increases critical attack chance by +20%.
In total, you get +40% to the chance of a critical attack, for a destroyer this is just a fairy tale.
Destroyer at the Olympics: examples of behavior, analysis of fights
Destroyer vs Destroyer
When entering the arena we buff all SA buffs as usual, then LS buff. In this case I would definitely strive to have an active and passive Item Skill: Agility. As an alternative, you can also use active and passive Item Skill: Reflect Damage, at worst, to crit more often - active and passive Item Skill: Focus. But keep in mind that the first two options are much more reliable against Destroyer. In the case of Agility he will simply miss you, and in the case of Reflect Damage he will kill himself + your damage. It is worth putting on yourself
Dragon Leather Armor Set - it will give us even more dodge.
So, we buff, merge on limits, use everything we need, equip
Heavens Divider [Focus] и
Dragon Leather Armor Set and into battle. What are the options? As for me, it's just a fight to see who will crit faster and kill the other. There are options to start a fight at limits with
Zealot и
Guts, but as for me they have no place in life in such a scenario. As mentioned above, all the options are already described here. The best LS buffs that can bring your victory closer are also, I would still highlight the option with active and passive Agility + Dragonik Light Set – this will give you a lot of dodge, and your opponent will simply miss. This is actually a unique strategy and build against many physical opponents.
Don't forget to use it too
Item Skill: Celestial Shield — Invulnerability for 10 seconds, if you have it. It's best to do this right at the start of a fight, before you get close to the enemy.
Destroyer vs Prophet
When entering the arena we buff all SA buffs as usual, then LS buff. In this case we have no option or sense to use Draconic Bow [Critical Slow] the first 30 seconds because it won't go away when the PP is under the influence
Mystic Immunity (immunity to all debuffs for 30 seconds). But still, in this tactic I don't see anything better than shooting from a bow for all 30 seconds until it wears off
Mystic Immunity.
There is no point in running around with a two-handed sword for PP, because it has a debuff
Block Wind Walk which he will immediately cut off our running and we will never catch up with him, as well as a self buff for speed + DK robe set, which also gives running speed. So we are counting on
Dragon Bow [Critical Slow] - the ideal LS buff for this weapon is passive
Item Skill: Duel Might (increases your PvP Phys. Atk. damage +5%)/
Item Skill: Focus (Increases critical strike chance by 20%). As soon as the target's immunity wears off, there's a chance our SA Critical Slow will wear off and we'll kill him.
The second option is to try to catch up with the PP with a two-handed sword under the effect
Zealot, it gives 80% resistance to all debuffs, you might not catch it right away
Block Wind Walk and you'll be lucky with a couple of crits to win quickly. If you do get a debuff, then get your bow and do it all the same way.
Don't forget to use it too
Item Skill: Celestial Shield — Invulnerability for 10 seconds, if you have it. It's best to do this right at the start of a fight, before you get close to the enemy. This debuff prevents the enemy from burning your mana, and any debuffs other than Cancelation won't work on you.
Destroyer vs Gladiator
The situation here is extremely difficult, because if the enemy has an LS buff
Item Skill: Celestial Shield, then he has two invulnerabilities, because he also has his own skill
Sonic Barrier making him invulnerable for 10 seconds. In total, such an enemy has 20 seconds of invulnerability.
When entering the arena, we buff all SA buffs as usual, then LS buff. There is only one and only strategy here, we immediately use
Item Skill: Celestial Shield and we try to do as much damage as possible, if we are lucky and manage to knock down his invulnerability cast, then most likely victory is in our pocket. Against the gladiator we dress for maximum physical protection, therefore
Imperial Crusader Heavy Armor Set и
Heavens Divider [Focus] with passive
Item Skill: Focus — Increases critical strike chance by 20%. We're all over him, no matter how hard we fight, and we can occasionally try to stun him.
Armor Crush.
