Macros in Lineage 2: what are they for?

Macros in l2 allow us to automate some character actions, which can make routine tasks easier and speed up the gameplay. Macros can be configured to use skills, items, change equipment and send messages to the chat. If you are looking for a suitable server where these macros will come in handy, take a look at l2 server announcements - choose a convenient start and start playing.

The maximum number of macros we can add for use is 24 or 48 (depending on the build and server settings).

We can see the exact number of available macros by opening the macro creation panel, holding down ALT+R or going to settings and clicking “Macro”.

Macro settings

Below in the photo in the upper right corner the maximum number of macros available is indicated.

By clicking the “Add” button we create a new macro. The maximum number of characters in the macro name is 12.

You can also select a color icon for your macro by clicking on the magnifying glass.

The macro itself can contain up to 12 lines, with each line containing up to 80 characters.

You can edit and delete the macro using the two buttons in the lower right corner. 13.

Please note:
If you perform any action while the macro is running (move the character, turn on nipples, open the interface window, write in the chat, etc.), the macro will be interrupted. Also note that it is impossible to add any other macro to the macro.

Macros in Lineage 2: macro composition and commands?

The macro can include absolutely all commands from the Lineage 2 game, in macros these are called prefixes.

There are such chat commands:

Macros in Lineage 2: examples of macros

To start, let's write a couple of simple macros for farming mobs by assist and spoil.

Simple macro for pumping on assist:

/target %party1 (we select the first character in the party in order as a target)
/assist (we target the same mob as him)
/attack (we beat the mob)
/attack
(we beat the mob)

assists

Simple macro for spoil on assist:

/target %party2 (we target the second character in the party in order)
/assist (we target the same mob as him)
/useskill Spoil (use spoiler)
/delay 3 (wait 3 seconds until the mob is killed, this time needs to be adjusted individually)
/useskill Sweeper (collecting spoiler)

MacroSpoil

Macros in Lineage 2: Macros for Olympus

Macro for changing/re-dressing a set

We need to put the set we need on the skill panel, each part in a separate cell.

Panel Skills

Then you need to drag our items from the skill panel to the macro line, each one separately. In no case should you move parts of the set to other cells of the panel, otherwise the macro will fail and the set will not be fully equipped!

IC Macro

Once you've created a macro, you can drag it to the quick access bar like a normal skill or item. By clicking on the button corresponding to the macro, you'll execute the commands embedded in it.

IC1

Macro for LS buff on Olympus

The meaning is exactly the same as with changing sets. We need to put our guns with the necessary LS on the skill panel. For example, I put refreshes.

LSBUFF

In 9,10,11 and 12 cells I have guns with LS buff refreshes, all 4 refreshes are different. It is necessary to Move the gun with LS buff to the macro line, then equip it and open active buffs, and from there move our LS buff to the macro line.

LSBUFF1

That is, after each gun there must be its active skill. In no case can we move our guns with LS buff to other cells of the panel, otherwise the macro will not work properly!

Please note:
If you perform any action while the macro is running (move the character, turn on nipples, open the interface window, write in the chat, etc.), the macro will be interrupted. Also note that it is impossible to add any other macro to the macro.

Now you have information on using macros in the game Lineage 2. There are a lot of ideas for macros, the main thing is to understand the meaning and functionality. You can make macros for pouring mana, a macro for a buff, a macro for using CP jars and much, much more! Using macros can greatly simplify the game, especially in situations that require repeated execution of the same type of actions.

Macros are especially useful at the start. Choose your server from l2 server rating and try them out.
