Resources in Lineage 2 are the foundation of the entire economy and crafting, without which it is impossible to create weapons, armor, and jewelry. It is through mining, spoiling, and refining materials that players progress from entry-level to top-tier equipment, and resources such as Iron Ore, Animal Bone, and Crafted Leather are used at virtually every stage of character development. However, farming efficiency, prices, and resource availability can vary greatly depending on the project, so it's important to study the current status before starting. Resources are what a dwarf uses to craft weapons, armor, and jewelry. They can be obtained in three ways: by spoiling monsters, by dropping them in normal loot, or by crafting them from other resources using a recipe. It's easier to buy or loot this resource from a mob than to collect it using a recipe—but the recipe exists, and it comes in handy when the market is empty.

No monster drops this resource—only dwarf hands. "Crafting level" is a level of the Create Item skill required by a craftsman. Where an additional adena payment is indicated, that's how much the blacksmith will charge if you collect it through him instead of yourself.
