Zombie Captain's Spiritual Body
Not all Zaken captains remain trapped in rotting flesh—others are reduced to a Zombie Captain's Spiritual Body, a disembodied simulacrum in which only malice and a sliver of their former will smolders. These spectral leaders wander the cursed decks of the Island of Devils, lashing out furiously at the living, as if seeking to sate an eternal, unquenchable thirst for vengeance. Being undead, they fear holy power, and blessed weapons dispel their faltering form more reliably than any other.
When such a spirit dissipates, it sheds silver nuggets, threads, and metallic fiber—the last tangible echoes of the life that has forever departed these waters. These trophies serve as silent reminders of a formidable crew doomed to serve their vampire until the end of time.
