Zaken's Pikeman
On the shaky deck of a ghostly ship that forever bobs off Devil's Island near Hunters Village, the dead, raised by the will of the demon pirate Zaken, stand guard. Zaken's Pikeman clutches a rusty pike in his withered hands, condemned to forever guard his master's cursed vessel and its untold treasures. Bereft of will and peace, he lashes out at anyone who sets foot on board, defending his captain's domain with the dull, relentless fury of the undead.
Like everything raised from the grave, this creature trembles before the sacred power—sanctified magic soothes it, breaking the spells that hold its soul captive. Coal and Varnish, once used to repair the ship, sometimes crumble from the decaying remains, and the Greater Herb of Life, dropped from the ship's stores by the long-lost crew, glimmers among the bones.
