Increases the chance of blocking a shield attack. Continuously consumes MP.
Description
Shield Fortress (ID 322) is an active toggle stance (CONT / OP_TOGGLE) targeting the character themselves (TARGET_SELF). This sustained mode consumes MP (ManaDamOverTime) every 5 seconds and increases shield defense by adding stat=”sDef” according to the tables while the stance is active.
Effect by level: Shield Defense (sDef): from +446 → +560 (table #ShieldDef). MP consumption every 5 seconds: from 25.6 → 29.6 (table #val). When activated, the initial MP is consumed: 12 → 14 (table #mpConsume_Init).
Sharpening:
- Enchant 1: Increases sDef to +565 → +688 and MP/tick to 30.4 → 34.0 (tables #ench1sDef, #ench1val).
- Enchant 2: Reduces MP/tick to 29.64 → 25.5 and fixes sDef bonus at +560 (#ench2val tables).
