Wasp Leader
Among the buzzing swarms that hover over meadows and forest edges, the Wasp Leader stands out—the alpha male of the giant wasps, whose body is larger and more robust than that of his fellows. Under his leadership, the swarm gains boldness and cohesion, becoming a genuine threat to anyone who wanders into its domain. The leader himself is aggressive and intolerant of strangers, rushing into attack first and drawing the entire swarm along with him.
Among the loot found on a fallen alpha, Thread—a durable thread essential to local craftsmen—is especially prized, as are the healing herbs Greater Herb of Life and Greater Herb of Mana. It is this thread that hunters who undertake the "Gather Ingredients for Pie" quest seek, for without the contributions of the wasp alpha's swarm, they will be unable to gather all the necessary ingredients.
