It has neither face nor flesh in the conventional sense, only a trembling echo of death, seeking living warmth and furiously lashing out at anyone who wanders into its domain. Travelers say that to hear it is to be too late.
Holy light is fatal to these undead: the consecrated power dissipates the humming sound, like fog in the sun's rays. From the dispersed creature, a Greater Herb of Life is harvested, along with Animal Bone and Animal Skin—a sad reminder of those this sound has already driven to the grave.
