Unpleasant Humming

In the musty darkness of a ship's bowels, a strange sound sometimes emerges—a quiet, haunting hum that chills the blood. It's not the wind or the creaking of old planks, but the undead itself, a nameless manifestation of the Zaken curse given form and malevolent will. The hum creeps toward the living and pounces on them, for in the silence of the dead island, any alien heartbeat is an unbearable call.

A creature of death, it trembles before sacred power, and holy prayers dispel it faster than any weapon. As it fades, this phenomenon leaves behind a Greater Herb of Life, as well as animal bones and skins—Animal Bone and Animal Skin—like echoes of those unfortunate creatures that once perished in its ominous hum.
