Triol's Believer
Deeper in the bowels of the desecrated temple, among the echoing vaults of Forbidden Gateway, Triol's followers, whose faith has outlived death itself, stand frozen in silent prayer. Triol's Believer is not the first to reach out to the stranger—he is immersed in somber contemplation of his idol, raising his hand only when an insolent stranger disturbs the peace of the shrine. A Chapel Key or pieces of Iron Ore are often found on the fallen fanatic, as if the earth itself is releasing what was sealed within the walls of this accursed place.
Like all the defiled brethren, the believer fears the sacred light: the magic of the Sacred turns his pious pretense to dust. Wanderers who take up "Seekers of the Holy Grail" know that it is impossible to avoid these silent guardians of the faith—the path to the Grail runs straight through the heart of heresy, beating even beyond the grave.
