Treasure Chest

In the dark passages of the tombs, another deceptive chest lurks—appearing to be an ordinary forged chest, forgotten among the dust of centuries, but in reality an enchanted creature awaiting a trusting victim of its cunning. Such magical traps are created by the very nature of the cursed tombs, feeding on the greed of the living.

The chest shows no hostility and remains motionless until someone reaches for its lid—only then is its true nature revealed. Inside are hidden bones and animal skins, and sometimes even tanned leather, and only those skilled in the art of lockpicking and the right key can reach them.
