It is meek and motionless, harboring no hostility, and crumbles to dust at the first touch of a blade, as if dissolving in the disappointment of its victim.

Those hoping for a scattering of coins find inside only grass stalks, iron ore, and a skein of cord—supplies fit only for a craftsman. Thus, century after century, these deceptive chests mock the greed of treasure hunters, yielding them nothing but a handful of artisanal scraps.
