Trampled Man
In the thickets of von Hellmann Forest, where a long-ago and terrible tragedy unfolded, wanders the unfortunate Trampled Man—a tortured undead creature whose name harbours the memory of a brutal death. Trampled and desecrated in life, he has risen not for vengeance, but as if driven by the inertia of the curse that has befallen these forests. He will not attack first, but his very appearance inspires melancholy and fear. His hunched figure betrays a pain that even death could not erase.
The flames of fire inflict a unique torment on this decayed flesh, reducing it to ash faster than any other weapon. Among its remains are found Thread and the healing herbs Greater Herb of Life and Greater Herb of Mana, and it serves as the key to unraveling a dark story in the quest "Tragedy in von Hellmann Forest," which lifts the curtain on the tragedy that befell these lands.
