Soul Scavenger
The Soul Scavenger is an undead soul-sucker, raised by a dark will from the grave's dust to wander cursed cemeteries and ruins in an eternal hunger for living life. This undead creature does not attack travelers indiscriminately, but is drawn to the warmth of another's soul like a moth to a flame, and its touch chills the blood. Like all things born of death, it trembles before the sacred power that turns it back to lifeless dust.
Those who lay the gatherer to rest with the light of faith will find within their decayed remains a Scroll: Enchant Weapon (D), as well as Boots of Knowledge and Gloves of Knowledge—equipment prized by those who understand the mysteries of magic. Blessing these undead with peace is a noble deed, worthy of all who honor life.
