A fallen guardian angel whose existence is tied to the ancient wars between Einhasad and Gran Kain. When the goddess of light cast down the rebellious angels, their souls did not dissolve into the radiance, but were left to wander between worlds. Soul of Splendor is the embodiment of such a soul, deprived of a body, but retaining a fanatical devotion to the will of the goddess. Its appearance is broken and distorted: instead of the grandeur of heavenly messengers, it resembles a shadow immersed in sorrow and eternal service.
In the Valley of Saints, this angel guards ancient relics and symbols of faith, preventing mortals from desecrating them. For pilgrims, he is a reminder of the price of loyalty to Einhasad: even after death, the angels of her light continue to serve, bound to the earth by eternal bonds.
