Cleanse is an active skill available to Cardinal healers (3rd class Bishop) in Lineage 2. It is used to remove negative effects from allies during PvP/PvE combat.

Cleanse skill description in Lineage 2

Skill Cleanse Dispels debuffing spell effects on the target. Requires 1 to use. Einhasad's Holy Water.

Cleanse skill features

• Instantly removes debuffs from the target.
• Cleanses paralysis, stun, poison, silence, bleeding, slowness and other negative effects.
• In different chronicles it can remove a certain amount of debuffs or work as a mass cleanse.
• Requires MP and 1 Einhasad's Holy Water for use.

It is worth noting that the Cleanse skill does not remove debuffs received in Hot Springs:

• Hot Springs Flu
• Hot Spring Malaria
• Hot Springs Cholera
• Hot Springs Rheumatism

And also does not remove debuffs received by the losing side in the cycle of seven seals:

This debuff can only be removed by death.

Where is it useful to use the Cleanse skill?

• PvP and Olympics – helps to quickly get rid of enemy control and debuffs.
• PvE and Raids – Removes dangerous negative effects imposed by bosses.
• Sieges and Mass Battles - Allows allies to remain in combat longer without harmful effects.
