Alpine Cougar

The Alpine puma roams among the snow-capped ridges and rocky valleys of the Alps, its thick coat keeping it warm even in the harshest high-altitude frosts. Aggressive by nature, it guards its hunting grounds jealously, attacking anyone who dares to disturb the peace of its domain.

Hunters strip the defeated predator of its hide, durable bones, and tanned leather—prey prized by artisans in the valleys, where the hides of such a resilient mountain beast rarely reach. Thus, the ferocity of the mountains turns into wealth for those who manage to overcome it.
