March Zombie Lord
The Swamp Zombie Lord is the lord of the putrid dead, whose decaying body is driven by a dark will among the swamps and bogs of human lands. He may have once been human, but now he is only a shell, spreading the stench of death and a slow but inescapable threat. He does not rush at travelers, but anyone who comes too close is met with the grip of cold, swollen hands, and only holy light can cleanse his cursed flesh.
His body is mined for varnish and chunks of charcoal, which settle in the swamp along with the remains of his previous victims. Craftsmen seeking the Spirit of Mastery often venture into these perilous swamps to retrieve what the zombie lord holds within, for few treasures are as hard to come by as those plucked from the very heart of the swamp.
