In the dark depths where demonic forces have breached the mortal plane, dwells Magus Valac, a demon sorcerer skilled in the dark arts of destruction. Shrouded in an otherworldly veil, he greets strangers with a hail of spells, and his malice knows no bounds; however, all his sorcerous might cannot save his winged being from the piercing gusts of wind that scatter his dark weaves.
The slain mage drops grains of Silver Nugget, threads of Thread, and fine Metallic Fiber—materials imbued with the mark of demonic craftsmanship and thus highly prized by those skilled in rare compositions. Defeating Valac means dispelling one of the foci of demonic corruption that has taken root in these cursed lands.
