Karul Bugbear is one of the last representatives of an ancient tribe of giants, driven from their lands after the War of the Gods. Unlike ordinary bugbears, Karul is the result of an ancient magical experiment in which the power of giants was implanted into the barbaric body of a wild beastman.
He resides in the Valley of the Hunters, where he acts as a silent guardian of a ruined sanctuary that once served as an altar to an ancient tribe. He obeys no one, but hates all who encroach on his territory - be it human, elf or orc.
In combat, Karul Bugbear wields a massive mace, hand-forged from magical iron, capable of knocking down even heavily armored knights. His brute strength is combined with a primitive but dangerous rage, making him especially deadly when his health is low.
To find it, you need to leave Hunter's Village through the western exit and move towards the Catacomb of the Forbidden Path (see the map sign). The monster is not aggressive, it is part of the quests Testimony of Fate, Test of the Summoner, Song of the Hunter.
