Grave Scarab
Grave Scarabs—burial beetles that feed on the dust of the dead for centuries—scurry within ancient tombs and beneath the vaults of forgotten crypts. These insects do not attack first, preferring to burrow among decay and shadows, and therefore an encounter with them poses no threat to those who do not disturb their peace. However, their very nature, feeding on death, fills the ancient tombs with an oppressive, deathly air.
From the chitinous bodies of these beetles, they harvest the sharp Mithril Arrow, the healing Greater Herb of Life, and the coarse Animal Skin, all of which are used by artisans. Those who dare to descend into the shadows of the tombs can reap a handsome reward, for even amidst the dust and decay, Grave Scarabs hold within them something useful for the living.
