Crypt Horror rises from the ashes of abandoned tombs and collapsed crypts where death has long since taken over. It is a restless guardian of the graves, attacking the living without hesitation, driven only by a hunger for the warmth of life, which it itself is forever deprived of.
Being a creature of the undead, the monster fears the sacred light of the Sacred and retreats before blessed weapons. Its decayed remains often yield black Charcoal, needed by blacksmiths for their forges, as well as the healing Greater Herb of Life and Greater Herb of Mana, hidden among bones and grave dust.
