Cloudy Beast Turen

Among the ordinary mist-beasts of the Dion plains, the Turen stands out—an individual whose smoky essence has become denser and more vicious than the others, as if it has absorbed the evil power of the earth itself. This predator glides over the grasses with deceptive smoothness, but an insatiable aggression slumbers within it, and it pounces on a traveler without hesitation, enveloping them in suffocating darkness.

Those who slay a Turen find in its ashes not only the familiar Greater Herb of Life and Greater Herb of Mana, but sometimes even the precious Superior Herb of Life—a sign that this creature has accumulated far more vitality than its kin. For this reason, Dion's hunters especially treasure encounters with it, even though they fear its sudden ferocity.
