Buffalo
Among the rocky meadows that stretch from the Wall of Argos to the scorching gates of the Forge of the Gods, buffalos—horned giants with thick fur and a heavy, measured gait—graze peacefully. They are devoid of malice and avoid conflict, content to feast on the sparse grass of the scorched land. However, in defense of their lives, buffalos become formidable opponents, capable of knocking down the unwary with a single blow of their horn.
The hides of these beasts provide craftsmen with reliable Thread, and their depths sometimes conceal a Greater Herb of Mana, restoring strength to a weary mage. Here, on the edge of the ashlands, the buffalo lives a quiet and unhurried life, unaware that its peace is treasured by both hunters and the rare, life-saving herb it harbors.
