Brown Keltir

Brown Kelthyr roam the plains of Talking Island in packs, surrounding the Dark Elf village of newly converted and the trails leading to the Sea of ​​Ships. These small, dark-furred creatures are timid by nature and don't attack first, preferring to keep their distance from strangers; only when disturbed do they snap at them with their sharp fangs. Young hunters come here to hone their skills, as the beast's hide is easier to obtain than that of some predators.

Their bodies often yield the Greater Herb of Life and Greater Herb of Mana, which help a novice warrior in his very first battle, and their tough hides are used to craft a simple Leather Shield. It is the brown Kelthyr that the young priestess sends to hunt down in the quest "Shielen's Hunt," and so it's rare for a new Dark Elf to fail to remember the first time they raised a weapon against these harmless creatures.
