In dank crypts and forgotten tombs, where the last light of the living fades, Barion rises—an ancient undead creature whose will remains unquenched even beyond death's threshold. He does not attack everyone who passes by his tombstones, but woe to anyone who disturbs his eternal rest: from the darkness rises a cold, implacable malice that knows no fatigue. Sacred power, the gift of light and prayer, burns his withered flesh like a living flame, and it is to this power that this lord of the dead is most vulnerable.

Those who defeat Barion find a grim Destruction Tombstone and a Memento Mori relic beside its ashes, holding the breath of death itself. Sometimes, a Scroll: Enchant Armor is discovered among the decay, miraculously surviving in this realm of decay.
