In the dank lowlands of the Forest of the Dead lurks the Atrox, a monstrous insect grown to hideous proportions on the rot and decay of the dead land. Aggressive and agile, it ambushed its prey with gleaming mandibles capable of crushing bone. Despite its tough chitinous shell, it fears fire, whose flames easily reduce its fragile flesh to ash.
Its remains yield coarse Thread and sharp Silver Arrow, and occasionally the life-giving Greater Herb of Life, so essential in the depths of the cursed forest. The appearance of this creature serves as an ominous sign of how deeply corruption has perverted the local nature, creating monsters from the smallest and most harmless creatures.
